The SXT Ultimate PRO + is the wildest of the three extreme models made by SXT (Ultimate LITE, Pro, Pro +). It ranks among the and thanks to two electric motors providing total power of 3600 W it reaches speeds of up to 80 km/h. Thanks to quality chassis fitted with pneumatic shock absorbers, the scooter is not afraid of terrain and riding it is extremely comfortable as it features air-filled, 11-inch tires.

The Ultimate PRO + offers the option to switch off one motor, which is helpful not only to increase the range but also for beginners to gradually get used to the scooter’s full power. Weighing 41.64 kg, this is no light scooter. However, it will repay you by its extreme parameters. Travelling up the hill is not the slightest problem for this scooter. We recommend it only to truly experienced riders who ride sensibly.

Power and range

The SXT Ultimate PRO + has both wheels driven, each hiding a 1800 W motor inside, which means that in total the scooter has at its disposal the extreme power of 3600 W. This power is transferred to the road by two 11-inch, air-filled wheels. With its 2x2 drive and up to 16.5 cm ground clearance, this scooter masters every situation, including off-road terrain. The scooter reaches speeds of up to 80 km/h and exhibits very good acceleration. This model’s range is limited by its battery, which uses Li-ion technology and is sufficient for a range of 50 km. The battery’s stored energy is 1380 Wh, corresponding to 23 Ah capacity at 60 V. The Ultimate PRO + is one of the most extreme scooters out there and its parameters correspond to this fact. You will not get bored by its acceleration, not even after many years of use, and you won’t have to worry about any really steep incline. Unlike its smaller brother Ultimate LITE, this model’s battery operates at 60 V and stores almost twice as much energy.

Comfort

The air-filled, 11-inch wheels are perfectly complemented by the pneumatic chassis, which is also adjustable by changing the pressure in shock absorbers installed both on the front and rear wheel. Riding on air-filled tires combined with pneumatic shock absorbers results in amazing comfort and can handle roads with large holes and bumps. The shock absorbers are adjustable by changing air pressure. This means that you can adapt the scooter to your riding style and your body weight.

Moreover, the scooter features cruise control making longer tips a little more comfortable. The cruise control engages automatically when you maintain identical speed for a few seconds and disengages automatically when you start braking or accelerating. The scooter offers a USB port that can be used, for instance, to charge your smartphone while riding or power any additional lights. A big plus comes with the built-in alarm and immobilizer, meaning you can leave your scooter unattended for a while without having to worry. The scooter allows starting moving without any push off, which will surely please more experienced riders and also when starting up the hill or in the field.

Safety

The SXT Ultimate PRO + brakes excellently thanks to its two hydraulic 160 mm disc brakes made by NUTT brand. This is an upgrade compared to the LITE version that features 120 mm discs with a hybrid braking method. The adjustable pneumatic chassis consisting of two shock absorbers, one on each wheel, further contributes to safety. It absorbs excellently any uneven surfaces, which contributes to better traction and braking. The scooter has a 120 kg load capacity, which must not be exceeded because of the design limits of shock absorbers. It features a powerful LED light at the front and also the front and rear lights built into the scooter body, in which a brake light is integrated as well. The air-filled tires contribute to safer riding on poor surfaces. However, it is necessary to take care of correct tire pressure. You will also enjoy a built-in alarm and immobilizer controlled by the included remote control, similar to a car. When riding this scooter, we recommend wearing protective clothes (full body armor jacket), sturdy shoes and a quality integral helmet.

Design

The minimalistic industrial design of the SXT Ultimate PRO + gives it an army look where the appearance is subordinated to functionality and robustness. The sharp edges, rectangular platform and a metal step-on surface hiding shock absorber do not try to pretend anything and rather create a comprehensive feeling of functionality and strength. The placement of brake discs is unusual with the front one being on the right side and the rear one on the left side of the scooter. The brake calipers and levers are made in the black finish identical to the entire scooter body, emphasizing its sporty nature. The necessary cabling is relatively well integrated into the body and does not disturb the scooter’s looks. The shock absorbers are also well hidden, being integrated and unobtrusive thanks to their black finish. This is certainly not a design masterpiece. However, sometimes beauty is in the simplicity and functionality. The black color is used almost everywhere, being only complemented by metallic silver finish found on the discs, screws, rims and transition pieces of hydraulic brakes. With this model, the SXT designers decided to stick to the old wisdom that black finish does not ruin anything, being always timeless and elegant.

Use and practicality

This is not a typical tuck-away city scooter. Its weight reaches 41.64 kg, which means that you will surely not want to carry it up the stairs. It is better to have two people lifting it and you will definitely not want to carry it up the stairs. The pneumatic suspension provides sufficient absorption of uneven surfaces and vibration generated while riding, being assisted by 11-inch, air-filled tires. This combination ensures an extremely comfortable ride. The wide handlebars are an advantage as they give you better control over the scooter. However Ultimate PRO + has them fixed, which means that the handlebars cannot be folded and the scooter therefore remains relatively wide even after the steering column is folded. The scooter does fit inside the trunk of a regular car, but there will not be a lot of space left. If you want to take it with you on a longer car trip (for instance, to a sea resort), it is better to put the scooter on your car’s rear bicycle rack mounted on a tow hook (check the load capacity). Thanks to its extreme power, 2x2 drive and excellent ground clearance, this scooter easily handles terrain and even very steep climbs. The 50 km range is sufficient for most riders. It is an extremely powerful model that is not for everybody and requires an experienced rider who rides sensibly. However, if you can tame it, it will take you almost everywhere and will be your first choice for any travels within your wider area.
