The metal frame made of one piece, a peak power of up to 8400 W, the chassis both for roads and off-road terrain, as well as the speed of 105 km/h are the specs that truly enchant every adrenaline lover.

Power and range

The on-paper power and speed specs of the NAMI Burn-E 3 Max raise the eyebrows. However, once you experience the peak power of 8400 W for yourself, you will not believe that you are riding “just” an electric scooter. There is no question that you can climb hills with a 35° inclination or ride on forest roads with this machine since after pressing the thumb lever, the scooter even starts accelerating while climbing. It continues to amaze on a flat surface where the top speed reaches up to 105 km/h.

That performance must be well supplied with energy, which is the task of the 72 V Li-ion battery providing a capacity of 40 Ah and an energy of 2880 Wh. In normal conditions, its capacity lasts for a 110 km long ride. The manufacturer has made life easy for every owner when the battery runs flat as the scooter comes by default with a 5 A fast charger that is plugged into one of the two charging ports. You will find them at the top of the deck, protected by covers. It is possible to fully charge the battery in 10 hours via these ports.

Body, design and equipment

The alpha and omega of the NAMI Burn-E 3 Max design is a single-piece frame made of aviation-grade aluminum. The designers welded it by hand, which resulted in its extreme rigidity and durability. It starts at the rear handle for comfortable carrying and continues across the wide and solid deck with anti-slip surface to the steering rod. The rod is the only piece that is not made of metal but of carbon fiber. It can therefore withstand loads of up to 400 kg and free the entire scooter chassis of excess weight. The rod is connected to the metal structure by a patented joint made of stainless steel. To fold the scooter, you need to loosen it, unscrew the conical thread, pull the rod out of it and then flip it over.

The top of the steering rod is dominated by the LCD panel where you can choose between five performance modes. You do not have to worry about rain catching you by surprise as the display has a high waterproof rating (IP65). Overall, the NAMI Burn-E 3 Max looks industrial and functional, which too sets it apart from other competing models. We are convinced that the matte black finish combined with high-gloss stainless-steel accessories will captivate every electric scooter enthusiast.

Safety and comfort

Although the NAMI Burn-E 3 Max feels rugged, this feeling disappears instantly once you step on it. Naturally, the performance continues to reach extreme heights, yet it is tamed by 165 mm KKE hydraulic suspension at the front and rear, along with 11-inch tubeless tires. Moreover, you are able to adjust the stiffness of shock absorbers based on your preference. The brakes do not fall behind either. In this case, the manufacturer chose 160 mm Nutt hydraulic brakes with a four-piston cooled brake caliper. Their braking power does not decrease even during long descents or when doing sharp cornering as they maintain themselves at an ideal temperature. The attention was paid to safety while riding in reduced visibility. This means that a front headlight is a must, providing output of up to 2000 lumens and IP55 water resistance rating. The LED lights on the sides serve not only as an ambient element but also as turn signals, which further enhances not only your safety but also safety of other road users. The rear light and brake lights complete the scooter’s lighting equipment.

Use and practicality

The attributes of the NAMI Burn-E 3 Max, such as extreme performance, rigid chassis and functional design, predetermine this scooter for versatile use. Whether you take it on bumpy field roads or for long trips on paved roads, thanks to its adjustable hydraulic chassis, tubeless tires and powerful brakes – every ride will be a comfortable experience. All you need to do is to look at the performance specs and it will be clear to you that you will experience many adrenaline rides with this scooter, even in wet conditions thanks to IP55 rating of the entire scooter. It can climb hills without hesitation even with its weight of 51 kg, being able to carry persons weighing up to 130 kg on the deck. However, as is usually the case with most “super scooters”, there could be a problem should you wish to lift the NAMI Burn-E 3 Max. The dimensions of 135x145x62 cm (length, height, width) and its weight will almost certainly cause problems when loading it into the trunk of a car or when carrying it up the stairs. You will be better off if you take it for a spin outside the city where the NAMI Burn-E 3 Max promises the best feeling.

About the brand

What does NAMI actually mean? It means New Age Mobility Innovation. These four words summarize the NAMI’s ambitions: to design, develop and produce state-of-the-art electric scooters. The NAMI is a personal project by Michael Sha, a former chief designer of electric scooters at Kaabo, a company manufacturing electric scooters, who wishes to change the electric scooter market. According to him, the market mostly lacks innovation and quality control. That is why Michael Sha designed and manufactured his first electric scooter called Burn-E (Viper) in collaboration with an excellent Chinese industrial designer. Despite being a complete newcomer to the world of electromobility, the collaborating designer was able to transform Michael Sha's ideas into reality precisely as imagined. The fact that the Viper started to be manufactured from scratch in a small factory and was almost fully assembled by hand is certainly a unique and unmatched achievement of its kind. Now we may look forward to what other products the NAMI company offers us in the future.
