This right allows you, in certain cases, to request that your personal data be marked and that such data are not subject to any further processing operations - in such case, however, this is not forever (as is the case with the right of deletion) but for a limited time period. We must restrict personal data processing when:

  • you deny the accuracy of personal data, and this until we agree which data is correct;
  • we process your personal data without any sufficient legal basis (for instance, beyond what we have to process), but instead of having such data erased you prefer to restrict such data (for instance, if you expect to provide us with such data in the future anyway);
  • we no longer need your personal data for the stated processing purposes, but you request such data to determine, exercise or defend your legal claims, or
  • you lodge objection to the processing. The right to object is described in more detail below in "Right to object to processing" section. During the period of our determination whether your objection is justified, we are required to restrict the processing of your personal data.

Right of transfer

You have the right to obtain from us all your personal data which you yourself have provided to us and which we process based on your consent and on the basis of performing a contract. We will provide you with your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. In order for us to be able to easily transfer the data at your request, it may only involve data that we process automatically in our electronic databases.

Right to object to processing

You have the right to object to personal data processing that takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest (see "Why do we process personal data and what entitles us to do so?" section). If this involves marketing activities, we will stop processing your personal data without any further delay; in other cases, we will do so provided that we do not have any major justifiable reasons to continue with such processing.

Right to lodge a complaint

The exercise of the rights in the above manner is without prejudice to your right to lodge a complaint with the applicable supervisory authority. You may exercise this right in particular when you believe that we are processing your personal data without authorization or in violation of generally binding legal regulations. You can lodge a complaint against personal data processing performed by us with the Office for Personal Data Protection at Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, e-mail: statny.dozor@pdp.gov.sk .
