SXT Grizzy

This is a giant among scooters, with which it is difficult to say whether we are talking about a scooter or a motorcycle, as the borderline is very thin. It belongs explicitly to the category of extremely powerful models. You can choose from three color finishes, namely classic black, red or blue-green finish. Thanks to its powerful motor providing maximum power of 2700 W (2000 W continuous power), it reaches 45 km/h speed and a range of up to 70 km. This mighty scooter allows comfortable riding in the field, being one of the few models out there equipped with a seat. The Grizzy comes with large 12-inch, air-filled wheels that are approaching by their size the wheels typically used in quads. Thanks to these wheels, riding the scooter is truly comfortable and you do not have to worry about moderate off-road conditions. This giant is driven by a motor installed directly inside the rear wheel. The sprung chassis on both axles significantly contributes to comfort.

Power and range

The performance is very important when it comes to a giant scooter like this. That is why this model is equipped with a powerful motor providing maximum power of 2700 W (2000 W continuous power). Having such a motor, you do not have to avoid more challenging terrain or steeper inclines, as the scooter can handle them with ease. It is not afraid of combining more challenging terrain with a heavy rider, as thanks to its load capacity of 200 kg it is presently without question among record holders in this category. It has a large 60 V and 20 Ah lithium battery corresponding to 1200 Wh of stored energy, with which it can take you for an incredible 70 km trip in a single charge. However, we should emphasize that “draining” the battery to zero does not benefit its serviceable life. That is why it is better to keep some energy left in the battery and to avoid daily charging from 0% to 100%. The charging time to full capacity is just 4 hours, which is really a “quickie” given how large the battery is. The speed of 45 km/h will surely please riders who enjoy adrenaline.

Comfort

With its comfort and performance, it clearly surpasses and has a big lead over its off-road sister, the SXT Monster scooter. Presently, it is very difficult to find a scooter that would beat SXT Grizzy in these categories. It features big 12-inch, air-filled wheels improving riding comfort, being also equipped with suspension both at the front and the rear. It has a double hydraulic shock absorber at the front and a double spring shock absorber at the rear. The seat will provide you with better stability and surely greater comfort. The feeling of safety, based on the fact that this scooter features two disc brakes, further contributes to this comfort. Naturally, all this comfort, suspension, large battery and brakes must weigh something, not just figuratively speaking. That is why a rider has to tolerate greater scooter weight reaching 71 kg. Such weight absolutely disqualifies this scooter from the category of light scooters. Lifting and carrying this scooter is no pleasant experience and it is better to have two people do it. The scooter is controlled by a turning gas handle similar to a motorcycle or a quad. This further amplifies its roadtrip genes and design, blurring any remaining differences between a scooter and a motorcycle. A mobile phone holder with a charging USB connector is very practical, located directly on the left side of the handlebars. It allows you to run navigation software and discover previously unexplored areas.

Safety

When it comes to your safety, the SXT Grizzy is undoubtedly very well equipped. The two hydraulic disc brakes easily stop the scooter even at high speeds this giant can achieve. The tires ensure good traction on poor surface. The chassis comprises a total of four shock absorbers maintaining good grip on poor surface even when riding fast on or in difficult terrain, contributing not only to comfort but, in particular, effective braking. It has a double hydraulic shock absorber at the front and a double spring shock absorber at the rear. The excellent visibility during day and night is taken care of by LED lights at the front and rear, which meet the latest standards. The scooter is equipped with rear view mirrors. If you do not need them when riding, it is possible to easily remove them so that you do not damage them accidentally. Should you change your mind later, simply reinstall them. Speaking of security, the security of the scooter itself is likewise important. In addition to the alarm system and immobilizer installed directly in the scooter, the handlebars also include a steering lock that reliably protects your SXT Grizzy from undesirable individuals.

Design

The SXT Grizzy is a truly unique machine. Its robustness literally demonstrates that this is no tiny urban scooter but a fully fledged machine for making unforgettable trips. In addition to being a “hard working” scooter, people at SXT made sure its design is state-of-the-art. It resembles the style of chopper-type motorcycles. The specifications of this scooter can be in fact compared to this motorcycle category. The style of American comfortable motorcycles served as inspiration not only for the highly positioned handlebars, long suspension at the front and a comfortable seat, but also when it comes to battery position, which is at a place where you would expect the engine, if it was a chopper. By its design, the Grizzy clearly invokes maximum comfort and the American view of freedom as existed during 1950’s. Despite being robust, the steering rod is nicely and seamlessly interconnected with the seat. At the same time, its handlebars are elegantly shaped and along with rear view mirrors and the headlight they give the scooter a distinctive retro touch. The cabling is relatively well hidden inside the scooter’s body, which in turn looks clean and elegant. Riding this machine attracts curiosity of all passers-by, especially if you opt for blue-green or red color finish. One could make a modern remake of the Easy Rider movie with this scooter, in which the silent growling of the electric motor and whistling of the wind would replace the noisy exhaust sounds and gasoline fumes. Your local trips will be both stylish and environmentally friendly with this scooter.

Use and practicality

This is clearly the heaviest scooter in our portfolio and that is why it is not possible to describe it as easily portable. Be prepared that this scooter requires two people to carry it and transporting it requires quite a big trunk. However, if this is not a major obstacle for you or if you do not plan to travel with the scooter often, it will reward you with excellent comfort on long trips and more than decent range and extreme power. It can easily handle not only bad roads, but also inclines. That is why you can count on it when visiting our beautiful mountains. However, do not expect it to take you straight up the slope to go mushroom picking. If you are specifically looking for an off-road model, have look at the SXT Monster model in our portfolio. If you’ll keep it in a garage or in a cottage, you will not want to travel otherwise than on this scooter. Whether taking a trip to a meadow or a field, or just visiting a grocery store or a restaurant, you will always arrive with a smile on your face and attracting many curious spectators. However, one thing that will definitely be missing are the emissions. Every adventurer will definitely appreciate a mobile phone holder located directly on the left side of the handlebars, making it possible to run navigation software on your smartphone and visit new magical places.

Provided that you do not need to carry the scooter often and you are able to charge it comfortably in a garage or cottage, it will become your main transport means within your wider area. You will appreciate its comfort especially on field roads and when making long trips. You will always arrive with a smile on your face and happy, as if it were your first ride. Each time you ride it you will fall in love with it again. The SXT Grizzy is not only about adrenaline, but also about comfort, which it proves by being equipped with a seat. The second favorite model featuring a seat is surely the SXT Monster, which, considering its equipment, is literally an off-road scooter. Unfortunately, the SXT Monster does not have a motor located directly inside a wheel hub, which means there is one more thing to care about – chain lubrication. However, if you are looking for an off-road adrenaline experience without a seat, also check the ZERO 11X, ZERO 10X and INOKIM OXO models that can be fitted with off-road tires and offer even more extreme parameters in terms of speed and range. They are also more portable and compact. Ultimately, if you are looking for a comfortable scooter with a seat that provides extreme power, offers a huge range while, at the same time, you are not planning very demanding off-road routes, the SXT Grizzy has been made just for you.
