As suggested by its name, the new SXT Velox MAX is a maxi version of the SXT Velox model, which was successfully introduced to the market in 2019. Like the SXT Velox, the SXT Velox MAX features pedals, which means we can no longer classify it as a standard electric scooter. However, it offers even better specs (compared to its predecessor – SXT Velox) in the world of electric scooters and bicycles without any unnecessary compromises. The differences are in the frame and tire size. The SXT Velox MAX electric bike also features a gear mechanism, which means you can travel comfortably over longer distances. It looks like a bicycle and it is a bicycle. Yet, you can ride it happily without actually using pedals, similarly to riding a scooter. Except that you can sit comfortably on this “scooter” thanks to its suspension and, in particular, truly huge 20-inch inflatable tires. Thanks to its large capacity battery, the scooter can handle a range of up to 80 km and its battery is easily removable, which fact you will surely appreciate as it is not necessary to drag the electric scooter home – you only need to take out the battery. Weighing 27.7 kg and featuring ergonomic folding structure, it can fit almost any place.
The SXT Velox MAX has a 250 W power, which is enough not only for riding comfortably around the city but also for more challenging terrain. Its maximum speed is limited to 25 km/h. It is equipped with a lithium battery storing 280 Wh energy (36 V and 5.2 Ah). It only takes about 5 hours to fully charge, after which the scooter handles a range of 80 km. The frame is made of a proved magnesium alloy of its predecessor and features mechanical disc brakes on both wheels, meaning you can always stop safely. At the rear, it is equipped with a central shock absorber, which contributes not only to comfort but also to riding stability. The front and rear LED lights ensure safety. The rear light also serves as a brake light. Thanks to large 20-inch, air-filled wheels, riding this scooter is even more comfortable, stable and safe as a result. The large wheels likewise provide stronger gyroscopic stabilization effect, meaning that the scooter has better directional stability while riding.
The special feature, we are rightly proud of, is the high-end frame made of magnesium alloy. Moreover, it is without any welds or joints, which translates into its extreme stability and durability. Thanks to having pedals, the SXT Velox MAX has been certified as a regular electric bike, meaning you can use it on roads and other public roads. The SXT Velox MAX folds easily into small dimensions in a few simple steps. Thanks to its folding mechanism, you can transform it into an extremely compact "package". Right next to the folding mechanism there is a space housing a 36 V Lithium-Ion battery powered by high-quality cells that are protected against theft. Unlike the SXT Velox, the SXT Velox MAX has a Shimano Tourney 6-speed transmission, allowing you to travel comfortably over longer distances at different speeds.

It is more difficult to maintain because of the presence of a chain, which also comes with the risk of having your pants smudged by oil. The removable battery allows leaving it locked without worries, as you do not have to take the whole muddy e-bike home to have the battery recharged. Moreover, if you wish to leave it locked with the battery, the battery itself is lockable as well. Thanks to the fact that this is a folding e-bike, you can fit it inside a trunk of a regular car, but there will not be a lot of space left for other luggage. Despite being robust, it is truly a beautiful model with sophisticated design, meaning your arrival will be always on a stylish note. The riding comfort is excellent and can be likened to riding an ultra-light and extremely stylish motorcycle rather than riding a bicycle.
