Body, design and equipment

The body, design and equipment are the aspects that must immediately catch the attention of a customer. And the INMOTION L9 scooter is doing quite well in this regard. At the very first glance, one clearly sees that this is no ordinary scooter but a design gem, with the manufacturer taking care of every detail. Everything fits together precisely and all components nicely match each other. The frame and handlebars are made of wrought aluminum alloy used in the aerospace industry. This makes the scooter very strong, being able to carry riders weighing up to 140 kg. The entire scooter cabling is cleverly hidden in its body. This means there is no risk of it being exposed to the elements and damaged as a result. The front hydraulic double fork, dual rear spring shock absorbers and tubeless 10-inch inflatable tires jointly take care of your travel comfort. The fast-folding mechanism is strong enough to serve you for a long time. A hook is located in the upper portion of the steering column, used to firmly attach the steering rod in a folded position to the fixing point in the rear part of the deck. This means that you can fold the scooter at any time if you wish to carry it or load it into a car, for instance. Worth noting is the well-arranged display located in the middle of the handlebars. It is perfectly legible in any weather conditions, displays the necessary data such as remaining battery capacity, speed, kilometers travelled and more. You can also choose from three riding modes, which means you will surely find one that suits you best in a given situation. The entire scooter has an IP55 rating for water resistance and features a battery that is rated IPX7 and an IPX6 control unit. This way you can rest assured that not even a sudden rain shower or a large puddle are going to cause your scooter any harm.

Safety and ride quality

For INMOTION, taking care of your safety is one of the most important tasks when building a scooter. All the components are installed in a rigid frame that was designed for maximum riding stability. The folding mechanism is fast and, most importantly, very safe thanks to its safety latch. The whole body is carefully balanced and allows riders to reach the top speed without any unpleasant vibrations. The scooter is equipped with a high-quality mechanical rear brake that is going to exceed your expectations in terms of braking efficiency. The functional fenders are a matter of fact, protecting you well when it is raining outside. The easy-to-maintain step-on deck surface preventing the rider from slipping comes as a bonus. To ensure your visibility, the scooter is equipped with a powerful 1.25 W double headlight and a red rear light. You can also turn on the colorful mood lighting on the sides of the deck, creating an interesting effect on the road. However, the scooter’s top feature are the turn signals that activate automatically based on which side you start turning. The mechanical bell completes the safety equipment.

Power and range

The INMOTION L9 electric scooter is fitted with a state-of-the-art high-performance carbonless electric motor providing 500 W peak output and allowing the scooter to reach its top speed of 30 km/h. The engine power is regulated by a thumb lever, which is very comfortable to operate. The smart 54 V lithium-ion battery can be charged via two charging ports located under the covers on the left side of the deck. When starting from empty battery, it takes 3.6 hours to fully charge its 675 Wh capacity. The declared range is the incredible 95 km (depending on the rider’s weight, weather conditions, terrain and riding style). The battery does not suffer from any undesirable memory effect, which is why it will last many years, subject to proper charging and maintenance!

The scooter’s design is strictly subjected to functionality, minimum achievable weight and compactness. The rigid body and sufficient power predestine this scooter mostly to city traffic. With its powerful electric motor, the INMOTION L9 can even handle steeper inclines. When riding in a city, you will appreciate smooth power delivery and agility of the scooter.
