SXT BEAST PRO

The German manufacturer SXT offers a number of extreme scooters. But not even this fact prevented them from introducing yet another one to the market. We are talking about the SXT Beast Pro – a high-performance electric scooter that can handle any pitfall. Power and range

Being an electric scooter intended for forest roads, as well as for rapid acceleration on flats, the SXT Beast Pro requires adequate power delivery. The Beast Pro’s peak power reaches 4800 W, delivered by a pair of brushless HUB motors. Once you press the finger lever, you can climb hills with a 35° inclination without blinking an eye. On a flat surface, you reach a top speed of 85 km/h and accelerate sharply from 0 to 50 km/h in less than 6 seconds.

For the SXT Beast Pro to be able to utilize its power to the max, it must come with sufficient energy storage. That energy is stored in the 60 V Li-Ion LG battery providing a total capacity of 28.8 Ah. In normal conditions, you can venture out on 60 km long trips without any need to recharge. And when you run out of juice, all you need to do is to connect the scooter to the charger via a pair of charging ports on the side of the deck. Using the supplied 2A charger, it takes 14 hours for the battery to charge fully. This period can be cut to half when two chargers are used.

Body, design and equipment

The SXT manufacturer has extensive experience with off-road models and they used it when designing the Beast Pro model. It is built on the ultra-durable frame made of 6061-T6 magnesium alloy that is also used in the aviation industry. The lower part of the frame features a wide deck with a raised rear section terminated by a handle for more comfortable carrying. The entire deck is coated with a rubberized top layer for better grip. The frame continues through the steering rod’s neck towards the folding joint. To fold the scooter, just loosen the two quick-release clamps, pull out the sleeve and fold the height-adjustable telescopic steering rod. The manufacturer fitted the scooter with a steering damper right next to the folding joint, providing better control over the scooter at high speeds.

At the top of the steering rod there are 60.5 cm wide handlebars carrying a lot of equipment. In addition to rubber grips and brake levers, there is also a simple LCD panel. It will show you the current speed, remaining battery capacity, 3 riding modes and kilometers traveled. The control panel for lights, turn signals and a horn is found on the opposite side of the handlebars. At the same time, it is possible to monitor the current battery voltage near the ignition lock. Overall, the SXT Beast Pro looks robust and durable, fascinating all electric scooter enthusiasts thanks to its black finish.

Safety and comfort

Although the SXT Beast Pro looks tough, riding it feels as if the scooter was “ironing” the surface under its wheels by its excellently tuned suspension. It features 11-inch tubed wheels suspended on adjustable hydraulic suspension both at the front and back. In addition to comfort, the designers also thought of riding safety, which is why this model comes with a pair of hydraulic disc brakes.

Speaking about safety – you can rely on the front and rear LED lights when riding in low visibility. The powerful front headlight is complemented by two smaller lights at the front of the deck, as well as by separate turn signals. Owner can light up a blue ambient strip on the sides, which improves not only your safety but also safety of others on the road. The brake lights at the rear of the deck, as well as the horn, complete the safety features.

Use and practicality

The body and equipment of the SXT Beast Pro predestine it both for sharp riding on paved roads, as well as for adrenaline-filled off-road riding. With an adjustable hydraulic chassis, high performance and effective brakes, you can handle true riding challenges, even in wet conditions. The entire scooter is protected from water thanks to IP54 certification. Even though its equipment includes practical elements, such as the folding option and a kick-stand, this scooter is not intended for daily commuting to work. With its dimensions of 130 x 128 x 60.5 cm (length, height, width) and a weight of 39.9 kg, you will hardly be carrying it up the stairs or hiding it under your bed at home. The SXT Beast Pro is simply intended for experiencing adrenaline rush outside the city where it can carry riders weighing up to 120 kg on its deck.
