Body and design
At first glance, it is clear that Street Surfing’s designers did all they could to make this electric scooter as simple as possible for everyday use. That is why VOLTAIK MGT 350 uses 8.5-inch Honeycomb tubeless tires, which are puncture-proof. No small stones or potholes on the road will be a problem as this scooter is equipped with double damping of the rear suspension. This scooter’s small tires are not just for small riders since when combined with the chassis made of aviation-grade aluminium and magnesium the scooter can transport loads of up to 120 kg. While the scooter itself only weighs some 13 kg. The minimalist design with the length of 115 cm, height of 110 cm and width of 45 cm is simply made for zig-zagging in narrow streets and transporting oneself to any place you need.
Power and range
The riding dynamics are taken care of by a single 350 W brushless motor providing a top speed of 25 km/h. The range of the Street Surfing VOLTAIK MGT 350 reaches the same value – 25 km, and the scooter uses the energy provided by a 36 V lithium-ion battery with 10 Ah capacity. With this battery, making a few short trips per charge will be a piece of cake. It then takes 8 hours to fully recharge the battery. Should you ever reach the very limit of the battery capacity, it will not give up on you just like that in the middle of the city. It features a smart gradual power reduction system that engages before the battery goes totally flat, about which fact it informs you on the display.
Equipment and versatility
The equipment and features of Street Surfing VOLTAIK MGT 350 are as simple as possible, yet functional. The folding and carrying the scooter will be trouble-free not only due to low weight but also thanks to the clever folding system that only requires pulling a lever in the steering rod and simply clicking the steering rod to the rear section of the scooter. Folded in just 2 seconds and with the length of 110 cm, height of 50 cm and width of 45 cm, you can with it by public transport even when full of people. However, the foremost is the riding feeling, which is enhanced by the presence of cruise control and simple scooter control that uses a thumb lever. The fact that VOLTAIK MGT 350 belongs to a contemporary urban lifestyle is confirmed by the presence of Bluetooth and the ability to set riding properties using an app in your smartphone. With this app, you can not only check all the data about your trips, detailed battery data but you are also able to set the speed for cruise control activation or the scooter’s top speed in Sport mode. The scooter can be fully operated by a single button. You can use it to switch on/off your VOLTAIK scooter, switch on/off the front LED headlight or cycle through the four ride modes. The designers also had safety in mind. Stopping reliably ahead of any obstacle is easy as pie thanks to the rear manual disc brake and the electric brake in the front wheel. The rear brake light will alert other road users of the fact that you are braking. Moreover, the VOLTAIK MGT 350 model will not be surprised by wet or dirt roads thanks to a pair of fenders and IPX4 rating.
