Use and practicality

The practicality is foremost when it comes to city scooters. OKAI knows it all too well. That is why they delivered a scooter to us that weights only 16 kilograms and features a simple body making it incredibly compact. You will be able to take it with you absolutely everywhere. This is thanks to its optimal dimensions (1145×450×1130 mm) that make it possible to conveniently store the scooter and to ride it in narrow city streets.

Power, range and batteries

Naturally, this scooter type comes with certain limitations, given its primary use case. Therefore, the following specs are quite typical for a light scooter. OKAI Neon boasts a maximum output of 500 W that provides it with a top speed of 25 km/h. With this power at your disposal, you do not have to worry about hills. The OKAI Neon can handle inclinations of up to 24%. A range of 40 km is more than plenty for a city. It is the Samsung-made battery containing 21 700 cells that makes such range possible.

Comfort

Long deck ensures comfort by providing enough space for your feet. The almost 56 cm long deck is covered by a practical anti-skid layer that nicely complements the overall scooter design. The 8.5-inch tubed front wheel is another comfort-enhancing component. On the other hand, the classic Neon version uses a solid rear wheel, resulting in lessened comfort. Nevertheless, the fact that you do not have to worry about getting a flat tire compensates for this inconvenience.

Safety

Safety first. That is why OKAI combines electric and disc brakes in its Neon model. These brakes ensure smooth and fast braking even in emergency situations. The warning brake light is a matter of fact, visibly letting other road users know when you are braking. And this in any weather conditions. It is in such rainy weather that the safety provided by OKAI Neon reaches a whole new level. Thanks to its excellent certified water resistance (IP55), you do not have to worry when unexpected rain shower surprises you.

Design

The OKAI company went with minimalism in the Neon model. After all, it is presented as an urban model benefiting from a minimalist design that fits nicely the modern environment of a big city. Therefore, do not expect a lot of visible technology, but rather smooth lines. Add to it swag-lights supplemented with adjustable RGB backlighting.
