Use and practicality

Practicality is foremost when it comes to city scooters. Incredibly, the S7500 Plus model only weighs 13 kg and it can be folded to a compact size of 110 cm (length), 48 cm (height) and 43 cm (width) in a few seconds, making it incredibly compact. Meaning, you will be able to take it with you absolutely everywhere. However, these specifications took their toll in the form of a reduced load capacity, which reaches 100 kg.

Power and range

Naturally, this scooter type comes with certain limitations reflecting its primary use case. Therefore, you will find the following specs quite typical for a light scooter. The LAMAX S7500 Plus boasts a maximum output of 600 W that provides it with a top speed of 25 km/h. With this power at your disposal, you do not have to worry about doing some climbs as it handles inclinations of up to 20%. The scooter’s range of 25 km is on the shorter side, which may be a limiting factor for some users but certainly enough range for normal trips around the city. This shorter range is due to the use of a smaller 36V 11.6Ah battery that can not be charged while the scooter is switched on. Nevertheless, for a light, single-motor urban scooter these remain very decent specifications at more than a reasonable price. Naturally, the scooter has its own mobile app, using which you can personalize all important settings.

Safety and comfort

Safety always comes first - a motto pursued by all brands (we would hope so). In the case of Lamax scooters, your safety is taken care of by front and side LED lights complemented by a rear brake light. Particularly useful is the ECO mode for beginners, as well as kick start feature protecting against pressing the throttle accidentally. The rear disc brake makes sure that you stop smoothly, fast, and safely. Comfort is provided by rear suspension and an easy-to-clean rubberized anti-slip deck that further dampens vibrations. It is covered by a practical anti-skid layer and nicely complements the overall design of the scooter. The 8.5-inch tubeless wheels are another comfort-enhancing component that allows you to leave your tire pump at home.
