Like its predecessor, the Vsett 9 Apex attracts attention by its striking curves. Now it brings even more power, reaching a peak of 2620 W after unlocking, and being delivered by two 700 W motors. In ideal conditions, it can reach speeds of up to 50 km/h. Simple operation, excellent suspension and sufficient torque make this scooter a fantastic machine both for the city and off-road riding. The three NFC chips for unlocking the scooter give you full control over it. There is even a space for Airtag near the USB and USB-C ports on the steering rod, to protect it from theft.
Body, design, and comfort
The Vsett 9 Apex uses 8.5-inch pneumatic tires. No small stones or potholes on the road will be a problem as this scooter is equipped with front and rear suspension combining swingarms with spring dampers. This scooter’s small tires are not intended for just small riders as when combined with the chassis made of aviation-grade aluminum and magnesium, the scooter can transport loads of up to 120 kg. The scooter itself weighs 29.5 kg. Compared to the Vsett 8 Apex model, this scooter is more robust thanks to its length of 124 cm, height of 120 cm and width of 60 cm.
Power and range
The riding dynamics are taken care of by two brushless motors with a nominal power of 2x700 W and a peak power of 2620 W after speed unlocking. These motors provide a top speed of 50 km/h (after unlocking). The range reaches 40 km with the smaller 48V and 15.6Ah battery. By opting for the version fitted with a larger 19.2 Ah battery, you can enjoy a range extended by 20 km. With it, making a few short trips per charge will be a piece of cake. It takes 5-8 hours to fully recharge the battery. Should you ever reach the very limit of battery capacity, it will not give up on you just like that in the middle of the city as this battery is swappable for easy replacement and charging. This means that you can carry a spare battery with you in a backpack.
Equipment and versatility
The equipment of the Vsett 9 Apex is as simple as possible, yet functional. Folding and carrying the scooter are hassle-free thanks to a clever folding system, which includes folding handlebars. Folded in just 3 seconds to the length of 124 cm, height of 50 cm and width of 20 cm, you can take it with you on a bus. There is a 3.5" LCD panel at the center of the handlebars, displaying clearly the current speed. The turn signal switches are newly-designed and you can easily control the lights using the button located near the throttle. The designers also had safety in mind. Stopping reliably ahead of any obstacle will be easy as pie thanks to hydraulic disc brakes both on the front and rear wheel. Moreover, the Vsett 9 Apex will not be surprised by any wet or dirt roads thanks to having a pair of fenders and IP44 rating. However, we agree with the manufacturer and advise that riding in the rain or through puddles should be avoided. It could permanently damage your battery, which is not covered by warranty repairs.

However, this scooter is also durable and you will enjoy spending time with the wind in your hair. The only minor downside being a shorter range compared to its predecessor, the Vsett 9+.
