The VSETT 11+ is the pinnacle of technology designed primarily for the most demanding riders who do not want any compromises between price, quality or safety. It is a state-of-the-art electric scooter designed with perfectly adapted specs for delivering a huge dose of adrenaline. This is a very powerful new generation dual-motor electric scooter developed by the team that has previously introduced the successful Zero scooters. This electric scooter series is characterized by performance, quality, stability and safety. The VSETT 11+ boasts a series of innovations taking the development of electric scooters to a next level.
Body, design and equipment
By its design, the scooter strikingly resembles the popular Zero 11X model, particularly by its double steering column and a massive frame. However, it is made in a different black-blue color scheme featuring red accessories. The frame, double steering rod and handlebars are made of wrought aerospace aluminum alloy (6082-T6) and the wheel shafts are made of chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with carbon admixture (SCM440). This combination gives the scooter the rigidity it needs, given the fact that this is an extreme machine. The dual front shock absorbers strikingly resembling those used on motorcycles, dual rear shock absorbers, 11-inch, air-filled tires and comfortable ergonomic grips on the handlebars all contribute to your riding comfort. The scooter’s folding design uses a folding double steering column, which is secured by two fixed sleeves with a dual clamp on each rod of the steering column. This gives you certainty that you can fold the scooter at any time to make it more compact. The massive integrated footrest is a typical design feature, located at the rear of the machine, which also serves as a handle allowing lifting this machine. The VSETT 11+ scooter is equipped with a large and easy-to-read display with NFC lock, activated by a chip in the form of a dongle or an NFC-compatible smartphone or smartwatch. The display shows all important data, such as speed, current gear, daily kilometers travelled (TRIP), total kilometers travelled (ODO) and the current battery level. Thanks to its high brightness level, the display stays legible even in adverse weather conditions.
Safety and ride quality
Safety always comes first with such an extreme machine. The whole model is truly very robust and one can see that no resources were spared when it comes to the material used. The scooter’s components are installed in a massive frame that was designed for maximum riding stability in any terrain. The folding mechanism is very rigid and, most importantly, safe thanks to its dual clamp. The frame has been made of a strong aerospace aluminum alloy, being carefully balanced to maintain stability even at higher speeds. Under ideal conditions, the top speed can reach up to 85 km/h. The less experienced riders have the option to limit their top speed by deactivating the front motor, which halves the scooter’s power. However, extreme performance requires a quality braking system, which has been indeed given to this scooter as a standard. The fully hydraulic Zoom disc brakes can always brake effectively using a minimal force applied on a brake lever. Combined with electric ABS, braking is piece of cake. The quality and rigid structure of the entire scooter allows total load capacity of up to 150 kg. The scooter also offers the option to activate the so-called “Kick-start” feature preventing any unwanted start up, in the event that you initially do not feel like experiencing the brutal power offered by this model. The easy-to-maintain step-on anti-skid surface preventing the rider from slipping in bad weather or extreme situation comes as a bonus. The huge long-beam LED headlight using SMD diodes is another interesting feature. The front headlight combined with front and rear turn signals and electric horn allow the rider to ride safely both during day hours and in poor visibility. All lights are controlled by backlit metal thumb switches on the handlebars.
Power and range
The VSETT 11+ electric scooter is fitted with two very powerful carbon-free electric motors, each providing an output of 1500 W and producing an extreme peak power of up to 2 x 3000 W. Combined with a dual control unit, new thermal protection circuits and the innovative time-limited “Sport” mode feature, which can be activated on the control panel located on the handlebars, the scooter allows riders to ride fast in any terrain! The scooter’s power is controlled by a popular finger lever. The intelligent lithium-ion battery supports fast charging and promises a long range of up to 220 km in ECO mode and on single motor (depending on the selected capacity of the 60V battery: 31 Ah or 42 Ah and on the riding style). Located at the top of the deck, the two charging ports are more practical in terms of access to them, providing better protection against mechanical damage when riding on an uneven surface. Naturally, these charging ports are equipped with a protective cap. The battery does not suffer from any undesirable memory effect, which is why it will last many years, subject to proper charging and maintenance!
Use and practicality
Given its solid structure and high performance, this is a very versatile scooter. Thanks to its 2x2 drive, the VSETT 11+ can handle poor terrain and even steep climbs. When riding, you will undoubtedly appreciate the smooth power delivery, although given the size of this monster, its agility will not be class-leading. However, you do not have to worry about your scooter giving up on you on a longer trip. You will love its upgraded and very comfortable chassis, which you will be able to use both on cobblestones in a city and in poor terrain somewhere in the field. Despite the scooter’s versatility, its weight of about 58 kg (depending on the battery size) may be a limiting factor for some riders. Meaning, lifting this scooter will most likely require two persons, unless you happen to have muscles like Popeye the Sailor. However, it is necessary to recognize that this machine is a tough toy for tough riders who are not looking for some means of transport but rather for a big dose of adrenaline and a joy of extreme riding.
