Although this is an entry-level model in the NAMI brand’s portfolio, it comes with advantages that outclass many of its competitors. The NAMI Klima combines all the main attributes of this brand, yet packs them into a more compact and lighter body, making it a versatile machine for every day and every type of riding.
Power and range
The reason why the NAMI Klima belongs to a very small group of best scooters for daily use is found in its ideal combination of performance and range. A pair of motors offers riders a power of up to 2000 W, with the scooter reaching a top speed of 67.5 km/h on a flat surface. After squeezing the accelerator thumb lever, you will be surprised by instant power delivery and extremely quiet operation. The reason is found at the front of the scooter where the manufacturer has installed two 40 Ah control units with IP65 protection. These units work with either a 25 Ah or a 30 Ah battery that contains 21 700 cells made by LG. Both versions work at 60 V, being able to take you to a destination 65 or even 85 km away, therefore eliminating the need for daily charging even with intensive scooter use. The replenishment of battery power will not cause you wrinkles either since the NAMI Klima comes with a 5 A fast charger. With it, you will wait 5-6 hours (depending on batter size) for a fully charged battery via one charging port.
Comfort and safety
Premium components, which NAMI used to equip its flagship model – the Burn-E, are also found in the entry-level model – the NAMI Klima. One of these components is the KKE hydraulic suspension at the front and the rear with adjustable stiffness based on your preference. To ensure comfort while riding, the shock absorbers work with 10-inch tubeless tires. The comfort continues when it comes to braking, which is taken care of by a pair of Logan hydraulic brakes equipped with two-piston brake calipers pressing against 160 mm brake discs. You definitely do not have to worry about not being able to brake in front of an obstacle appearing suddenly, especially when others on the road see you from a distance thanks to the front headlight providing a power of 2000 lumens. This headlight is complemented with the rear LED panel serving as rear, brake and direction lights. The enhanced protection of lights against water (IP55) is a must.
Body, design and equipment
The NAMI manufacturer has always relied on the strongest possible and most durable body design for its models. The metal frame in a matte black finish has become a signature feature across their scooter range and the NAMI Klima is no exception. In this case, however, they abandoned the robust skeleton approach and slimmed down the entire frame. This not only saved weight but also contributed significantly to overall practicality. For a perfect body posture and stability while riding, you can make use of the wide deck with anti-slip upper layer and the raised rear part featuring the NAMI logo. In case of NAMI Klima, the manufacturer installed and sealed the battery in the space under the deck, thus better protecting it against external influences. The scooter body continues through the folding system made of one stainless-steel piece and its rigid clamp to the aluminum steering bar and 700 mm wide handlebars. In the middle of them is the LCD smart panel displaying all the necessary riding data and providing excellent legibility in direct sunlight. With the help of this panel, you can choose from 5 riding modes, set cruise control or parameters of control units. The emphasis on scooter’s functionality is obvious with the display boasting IP65-certified protection, as well as with backlit control buttons on the handlebars.
Use and practicality
Who will enjoy riding the NAMI Klima the most? All those looking for premium gear typical for super scooters (like the NAMI Burn-E) in a more compact body suitable for riding in a city. With its weight of 36 kg and dimensions of 128.5, 123, 68.5 cm (length, height, width), you should have no particular problem loading this scooter into the trunk of your car or carrying it up a few stairs to the nearest elevator. The practical nature of the NAMI Klima was further enhanced in the production by the use of quick couplings on motor cables, which makes any servicing or replacement of motor components or wheels much, much easier. The quick couplings, as well as the entire scooter, come with IP55 protection against splashing water and the load capacity of the entire body is 110 kg.

About the brand
What does NAMI actually mean? It means New Age Mobility Innovation. These four words summarize the NAMI’s ambitions: to design, develop and produce state-of-the-art electric scooters. The NAMI is a personal project by Michael Sha, a former chief designer of electric scooters at Kaabo, a company manufacturing electric scooters, who wishes to change the electric scooter market. According to him, the market mostly lacks innovation and quality control. That is why Michael Sha designed and manufactured his first electric scooter called Burn-E (Viper) in collaboration with an excellent Chinese industrial designer. Despite being a complete newcomer to the world of electromobility, the collaborating designer was able to transform Michael Sha's ideas into reality precisely as imagined. The fact that the Viper started to be manufactured from scratch in a small factory and was almost fully assembled by hand is certainly a unique and unmatched achievement of its kind. Now we may look forward to what other products the NAMI company offers us in the future.
