Designed from scratch, this model brings a revolution on its own. It provides top comfort, quality and performance in a compact package and easy maintenance. This electric scooter is a necessity for those who regularly commute. The light and compact design provides excellent portability while retaining aggressive look and performance that has made Dualtron a market leader. It efficiently solves the problems of living and moving in big overcrowded cities. We believe this is one of the best designed small scooters on the market.
Body, design and equipment
The scooter has an amazing modern design and perfect workmanship that, combined with the LED-backlit Dualtron logo on the steering rod and sides of the step-on platform, adds a certain amount of elegance to the scooter’s appearance. The folding system of Dualtron Mini is probably one of the most robust and best on the market. It is possible to fold it quickly and it provides confidence you need when riding and transporting the scooter. The Dualtron Mini scooter is equipped with a large and easy-to-read EY3 display manufactured in-house by Minimotors. The display shows all important data, such as speed, current gear, daily kilometers travelled (TRIP), total kilometers travelled (ODO) and the current battery level. Thanks to its high brightness level, the display stays legible even in adverse weather conditions. The throttle is controlled by a popular finger lever. The frame and fixed handlebars are made of wrought aerospace aluminum alloy of 6082-T6 designation and the wheel shafts are made of chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with carbon admixture of SCM440 designation. Quality materials and precise workmanship give this scooter the rigidity necessary to ensure rider’s safety. A modern type of quadruple chassis suspension, 8.5-inch air-filled tires, shaped handlebars and comfortable ergonomic grips all contribute to your riding comfort.
Safety and ride quality
Safety is always most important. The scooter’s components are installed in a new frame, which was designed for maximum stability and riding comfort. The Quadruple Suspension System featuring front and rear springs is the best in its class and offers incredible comfort and absorption of shocks on any type of surface! Thanks to two reliable and easy-to-maintain drum brakes, you can rest assured that you will always have the necessary braking force without having to worry about adjusting them. The electric brake assists in increasing the braking effect, while also protecting against extreme situations involving premature wheel locking caused by mechanical brake. The regenerative charging option is another positive feature allowing extending the range provided by your battery and helping to prolong the lifespan of brakes thanks to increased resistance. Another important safety element is the electronic ABS that helps preventing wheel locking during heavy braking. Likewise, the Dualtron Mini’s 3rd generation lighting system has been designed to enhance safety and predictability in fast city traffic. The dual LEDs, lighting of the steering column and side panels and the rear brake lights provide you with better visibility and safety you will greatly appreciate in an urban environment, particularly during reduced visibility. The scooter also offers the option to activate the so-called “Kick-start” feature preventing any unwanted start up. The well-designed functional fenders are a matter of fact. Meaning, should an unexpected rain shower catch you by surprise you do not have to worry about bad weather or your clothes getting dirty by splashing water. Nevertheless, we recommend avoiding water as much as possible in order not to lose warranty due to water damage to electric components. The easy-to-maintain step-on anti-skid surface preventing the rider from slipping in bad weather or extreme situation comes as a bonus.
Power and range
Do not judge the performance of this scooter by its size. The Dualtron Mini comes with a very powerful rear carbon-less BLDC electric motor providing nominal 500 W power and the incredible peak power of 1450 W! Combined with a 25 A control unit made in-house, the scooter allows the rider to ride at speeds of up to 45 km/h (depending on the rider’s weight, outside temperature and terrain). Thanks to the reliable 52 V LG battery with 21 Ah capacity, the Dualtron Mini offers an impressive range of up to 60 km (in ideal conditions established by the manufacturer). This gives you the freedom to ride without having to worry about where to recharge your battery. Naturally, the charging port is equipped with a protective cap preventing any dirt from entering inside the port. The battery does not suffer from any undesirable memory effect, which is why it will last many years, subject to proper charging and maintenance!
Use and practicality
Given its solid construction and excellent performance, this is practically a perfect city scooter. The Dualtron Mini is no average electric scooter. The classic Dualtron features we all know and love continue to prevail in the Mini, just in a bit more compact package! The powerful brushless motor provides great power allowing you to handle most hills. The front and rear spring suspension combined with the rear footrest make each ride a truly fantastic experience. When riding through city streets, you will appreciate smooth power delivery and agility of the scooter. You do not have to worry about your scooter giving up on you on a longer trip. Riding on cobblestones or across the tram rails will feel comfortable. The scooter has been certified to carry riders weighing up to 100 kg and weighs about 22 kg. Transporting the scooter by public transport or loading it into a trunk of your car will not give you much trouble thanks to the scooter’s low weight.

Therefore, when buying this scooter you do not have to worry about service or availability of spare parts. Thanks to our experience and contacts, we can handle more complex defects and diagnostics.
About the brand
The Minimotors is known globally as one of the best and most reliable manufacturers of electric scooters. It was established in 1999 in Pusan (Busan) in South Korea. Shortly after its establishment, the company became famous for its mass-produced electric motors. In 2010, it initiated the development and manufacturing of electric scooters as an excellent personal mobility alternative to single-track petrol-engine vehicles. In the same year, it unveiled its Speedway electric scooter series on the market. Due to high demand and the resulting need to boost manufacturing, Minimotors moved its production to a new factory in China and in 2015 completed the design and began producing a new electric scooter type named Dualtron Ultra. Seeing its huge success, the company continued in developing and manufacturing other models and model series. Presently, the company offers the Dualtron, Speedway and Futecher model series that are popular among electromobility enthusiasts around the world, inextricably linking the Minimotors brand to electric scooters. Although many new companies continue to emerge in the field of electromobility, they lack the experience gained by Minimotors over all those years. Many of these newcomers soon abandon their plans due to low quality of their products and the resulting lack of market interest. The Minimotors company has been supplying highest quality products to the global markets, making it a leader in the field of electromobility.
