SafeTec SK8 Smart Helmet

A smart helmet with integrated lights, turn signals and Bluetooth connectivity that can be controlled directly on the scooter's handlebars. It can receive calls, as well as play music while riding.

This helmet comes with integrated LED lights that are well visible from all directions and it is possible to switch between their "on" or "flashing" mode. The turn signals, which inform others of the change in the direction of your travel, are operated using the included remote control that can be attached to the handlebars. This is a much safer way of showing direction than with your hands, since you can easily lose stability on a scooter when you hold the handlebars with just one hand.

The electronics in this helmet can withstand riding in the rain and its biggest advantage are the integrated turn signals that can be also seen in daylight. When riding, this makes other road users immediately aware of the fact that you are about to make a turn. The practical experience shows that when wearing this helmet, the cars will let you ride in front of them, for instance if you need to change a lane. Both the microphone and the phone control via Bluetooth are built into the strap under the chin and, at lower speeds, they are sufficient for answering a phone call or listen to music from the speakers located near the ears. At higher speeds, you will have to slow down but it will be still much more comfortable than stopping and putting your helmet off. The helmet works with any Bluetooth-enabled phone – tested on both Apple and Android phones.

The design is suitable for use in a city and does not disturb your overall appearance, unlike ordinary bike helmets.
