Body, design and equipment

To ensure maximum durability and rider safety, both the frame and the handlebars are made of specially wrought aerospace aluminum of highest quality. The FOBOS Model X is the first in the world to come with a pre-installed 4G IoT module, supplemented with GPS, Bluetooth and a smartphone app. In the app, you can set the scooter features, monitor its battery status, view riding statistics and, in the event of theft, you can find your scooter based on its current GPS position. FOBOS went a bit against the current trend seen among other manufacturers and equipped the scooter with a thumb lever, which many riders have long been calling for. In addition to the rigid aluminum frame, certain critical parts of the scooter are made of alloy steel to ensure maximum strength. Another important safety feature is the electronic ABS that prevents wheel locking when braking heavily. They equipped the scooter with a strong front LED light located on the steering rod and with a red rear light that significantly increases its luminosity when the brake lever is pressed. To make you visible, the FOBOS Model X is also equipped with LEDs in the front and rear section of the deck and with turn signals. The integrated color backlit FOBOS logo is found on the sides of the deck and on the steering column and you can change the backlight color according to your preference using a remote control. A range like that will give you the freedom to ride without having to worry about where to recharge your battery. However, should that not be enough for you, the 5 A fast charger supplied as a standard will allow you to quickly charge your battery in a very short time. Should this be still not enough for you, you can connect two fast chargers or, optionally, buy a fast 10 A charger with twice the power. The BMS (Battery Management System) will take care of proper management of individual segments comprising the battery pack, maintaining constant 60 mAh current. The two charging ports are fitted with protective caps preventing dirt from entering inside, which means you do not have to worry about them getting damaged. The battery does not suffer from any undesirable memory effect, which is why it will last many years, subject to proper charging and maintenance! Under ideal conditions, the dual 120 A control unit made in-house by FOBOS allows accelerating the Model X to a 100 km/h speed, which is truly something.

Use and practicality

Thanks to its high performance, rigid structure and high-precision workmanship, the scooter is intended for very demanding riders who do not wish to make compromises. Thanks to its 2x2 drive, the FOBOS Model X will handle even a very steep hill. With its 11-inch and 90 mm wide tubeless tires, the Model X provides you excellent comfort, traction and safety both on the road and on unpaved surfaces. Tubeless tires significantly reduces the risk of getting a flat tire. The adjustable and replaceable elastomeric suspension will make your ride very comfortable, both on cobblestones and on field roads. And because everything is extreme when it comes to the FOBOS Model X, its weight of 49 kg is extreme as well. The scooter is therefore not intended to be frequently lifted and carried, which is common in this scooter category. Thanks to the folding steering column and handlebars, it can be loaded into the trunk of a car, but loading it will make you sweat a little.
