About the brand

The German company Walberg Urban Electrics has been selling THE-URBAN lifestyle brand since 2017. This is the “younger sibling” of the premium EGRET brand, which the company has been offering since 2012 and has already distributed more than 60 000 units. Its founder, Florian Walberg, started as an ordinary user of electric scooters. Based on his personal experience, he realised the huge potential of this new form of mobility. According to him, in the coming years the cities will have to adapt the roads and pavements in a new manner – shifting from internal combustion vehicles towards alternative mobility forms. The electric scooters, especially folding ones, can be easily combined with public transport or one’s own car. We completely agree with Florian on this. The EGRET and THE-URBAN brands are very popular, particularly in Germany, thanks to their German quality, reliability and stylish design.
