For the purposes of this review, we subjected INOKIM OXO, as well as other electric scooter models, to our independent testing. Let's have a look at how this INOKIM flagship scooter fared in our tests.

The INOKIM OXO is a prototype electric scooter designed for adults that possesses a cleverly balanced chassis that remains stable even at high speeds of about 60 km/h. The braking safety is taken care of by the Zoom hydraulic disc brakes that will definitely not disappoint you with their braking power.

As concerns performance, do not expect miracles. You probably won't experience adrenaline-filled rides, but with its 2600 W motor this scooter comes well above average. On the other hand, if you are looking for a reliable machine with smooth acceleration without any unnecessary jerking, the INOKIM OXO meets this condition 100%.

What is to like about this scooter?

If we had to choose the best thing about this scooter, it would definitely be the design. The orange-black combination looks very elegant at first glance, which is why this scooter immediately becomes the center of attention wherever you take it. A big plus are the pneumatic wheels attached by an unconventional one-sided suspension. Not only does it look nice, but in case of a puncture it is not necessary to remove the wheel.

If you are looking for a scooter for relaxing and quiet riding, you will definitely be pleased with the maximum range – we reached almost 95 km in our test with a rider weighing 80 kg at a constant speed of 20 km/h and without wind.

We were also pleasantly surprised by its extremely comfortable chassis. The OXO uses a patented system with adjustable chassis height. Meaning, you can easily adapt it based on your needs or whether you ride in a city or off-road.

We also have good news for those who do not wish to clean their scooter each time they ride it. The chassis fitted with an elastomer suspension system is almost maintenance-free. It does not catch dirt easily, requires no oil and does not make creaking sounds. The fantastic thing being that although the scooter looks like it was created just for an urban environment, when riding it in challenging terrain you do not feel any fatigue caused by excessive vibrations – it absorbs them perfectly.

What is a little annoying about this scooter?

• No fast charging,
• Folding mechanism,
• Lights,
• Weak raised part of the deck,
• Non-folding handlebars,
• Missing charging ports for two chargers. (But that is somewhat compensated by the long range.)

Also annoying are rather weak lights. Compared to other scooters of the same class, you can see only a small distance in front of you, which can be dangerous at higher speeds. Moreover, the rear and brake light are featured on one side only, which is honestly not the most practical solution, although it does look very nice.

The folding mechanism is also a disadvantage. Any incorrect posture on the scooter, especially when braking or accelerating, puts too much stress on the steering rod. Over time, this may cause damage to the folding mechanism. Also, it is a pity that the handlebars cannot be folded.

It is true that there are more powerful scooters out there at a similar price with more aggressive acceleration and a higher top speed. We have such scooters suitable for off-road use in our portfolio. However, the versatility and pleasant riding feeling are typical of OXO.
