It will come handy if, for example:
- you are not careful and hit an open drain
- you lend your scooter to a friend who falls and damages it
- you fail to brake in time and crash the scooter, either by someone else's fault or simply because of you not paying attention.
- you damage the vehicle while on holiday or it gets damaged in transport
- you fall while riding, for instance on a slippery surface
- you damage the scooter in transport, for instance the expensive display or controls get damaged

- free repair of a damaged vehicle
- courtesy vehicle for the service period under Voltride Care
Extended warranty
So, what happens if you claim extended warranty under Voltride Care?
- No unnecessary questions, it simply happened and we will help you with it.
- It does not matter where the damage occurred, our warranty applies globally.
- During the repair period, you will receive a courtesy vehicle of the same class.
- We provide high-quality repairs using original spare parts, performed by an experienced service technician who has been certified by the manufacturer.
- Where the damage is beyond repair, you will receive a courtesy vehicle forever, preferably identical one or of the same or similar class and providing similar or better parameters. If your vehicle was still under warranty, the new vehicle will receive warranty period identical to the remaining warranty period of the original vehicle.
We know that electric scooters and other personal electromobility devices are not cheap. Those are no toys but rather state-of-the-art means of transport. They are not about having fun over a few weekends, but about a new way of transport that will become part of your daily life. That is why we want you to be able to ride without worries and without any unnecessary concerns about your expensive personal electromobility vehicle.
Voltride careWe will simply help you when if your scooter or other vehicle protected by Voltride Care gets damaged or destroyed.
There are frequent cases, in which post-damage service may cost a lot of money or where scooter repair is no longer worth it. We have seen too many damaged scooters on the edge of repairability to pretend that it cannot happen to you. We want you to ride without worries and to be able to truly enjoy your rides the way we enjoy them. That is why offer Voltride Care and Voltride Care Plus – the only carefree extended warranty and free service of personal electromobility equipment on our market.
Voltride care plusIf you wish to enjoy a wholly carefree ownership, choose Voltride Care Plus. Unlike Voltride Care, this plan also includes completely free service and up to 15 extra benefits.

Standard statutory warranty (2y)
- Free repair of product defects
- Covers all defects that are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery
- It is assumed that any defect that manifests during the first 12 months existed at the time of delivery.
- After 12 months, the seller remains responsible for any defects during the whole 2-year warranty period. However, it may require you to prove that a defect existed at the time of delivery of the goods. Proving it is often quite complicated and may require using the services of a technical expert.
- It does not cover any defects that did not exist at the time of delivery.
- It does not cover any mechanical damage that did not exist at the time of purchase.

You can buy Voltride Care or Voltride Care Plus for one, two or three years when purchasing your vehicle. Subsequently, it may be extended at any time. Upgrading to Voltride Care Plus from Voltride Care is only possible when extending the service.

Extension and upgrade
Voltride Care extension and upgrade options to Plus
The Voltride Care can only be ordered when purchasing a vehicle. The Voltride Care may only be extended during the subscription period, and this no later than one day before its expiry. We will notify you of the approaching end of your subscription period in advance. You can always extend it for one, two or three years. The upgrade to Voltride Care Plus is only possible when extending the subscription and will take effect on the next day following the end of the previous Voltride Care subscription.
Are there any "strings" attached?
What else should you know about Voltride Care?
- We can only fix what you bring to us. If you lose any scooter component, or if you lose the scooter itself, or if it gets stolen you, we won't be able to help you with that. In such case, we will be happy to assist you. However, you will have to buy any missing parts. Nevertheless, we will give you a discount on them.
- The use of free repair, including parts, is for a one-time fee of €50 (or 10% of the value of the repair, if exceeding €50). If you only use our free service (work), you pay no fee. The repair value is calculated as the price of used spare parts and €40 per hour of work. If you have Voltride Care Plus, the work is provided free-of-charge and it is therefore not included in the total repair costs. In case of more serious damage, you will also save on the fee for using this service.
- We will only repair what prevents the vehicle from being used fully. For instance, if the paint gets damaged or the fender is scratched, that is not covered by free repair. Where a part can be repaired without compromising functionality or safety, such part may be repaired and not replaced with a new one.
Voltride Care can only be ordered when purchasing a vehicle. The Voltride Care may only be extended during the subscription period, and this no later than one day before its expiry. We reserve the right not to offer any further extension of Voltride Care.
- In the event of damage where it is uneconomical for us to have the vehicle repaired, you will receive a replacement vehicle of the same make and type, if possible. If that is not possible, you will get other vehicle of the same class and of similar or better specs. However, it may not be a new vehicle but a vehicle of similar age and wear as was your destroyed vehicle. The use of this service is for a one-time fee of 10% of the purchase price of the original vehicle.
- Voltride Care does not cover vandalism or damage to the goods due to insufficient protection, for instance when you leave the vehicle unattended overnight locked in a bicycle stand. The common sense principle applies and the damage must be a result of an accident/fall and the like.
- Voltride Care does not cover damage caused by usage going against common sense, force major, usage going against the instructions for use, any extreme use (e.g. at races), use other than for transport, by overloading the vehicle, exposure to water or humidity, by neglecting the required service, unprofessional installation, tampering with the vehicle, or any irresponsible storage. We are simply here for you and will help you whenever we see you treat your vehicle responsibly and sensibly.
- Voltride Care does not apply to usual wear and tear or to consumables based on the vehicle's age and kilometers travelled. For instance, if you wear down your tires, you can buy new ones at a discount and have them replaced for free. But the tires themselves will not be provided to you free of charge.
- Voltride Care can be used within the framework of fair use rules and it is provided to both individuals and businesses. However, businesses may use Voltride Care only if those are their employees who ride the vehicles and these businesses do not use the vehicles to generate income. For instance, Voltride Care cannot be used if you run a scooter rental shop or a scooter sharing service etc.
- You can cancel Voltride Care free of charge within 14 days of purchase.
- The use of free courier to/from service shop is only possible with vehicles weighing max. 20 kg. In case of any oversize or overweight vehicle, we will share the transport costs fifty-fifty.
- The free displaying of your vehicle at our store in case you decide to sell it in our second-hand store is subject to agreement and may not be always available due to capacity or logistical reasons. The vehicle must be offered for a price corresponding to its actual condition, battery capacity or total kilometers travelled. We reserve the right to refuse to display it. The display period is subject to mutual agreement, but usually does not exceed two weeks. Voltride is not the seller of this vehicle and shall not be responsible for its pricing nor enter into any business-legal relationship with the buyer.
