Product Information
The SXT 300 is the basic and, at the same time, the lowest-priced model made by SXT brand. It may not be breaking any records by its specs. However, it has never been meant to do that. The energy is stored in a 24 V Li-ion battery offering 7.5 Ah capacity, corresponding to 180 Wh of stored energy. This energy provides the scooter with a range of 22 km. The force is produced by the 300 W brushless motor driving the rear wheel using a chain. Interestingly, the scooter uses a Li-ion battery, which fact contributes to reducing its weight. Many scooters of similar type continue to rely on lead batteries. Thanks to its Li-ion technology, the empty battery gets fully charged in about 4 hours.
Weighing 19 kg, it is not among the lightest scooters. However, it remains an easy-to-carry model. The bigger weight is justified by its robust steel body allowing a relatively high load capacity of up to 110 kg.
It is made in two colors - classic black and blue. Its retro design is subject to price and functionality. A great advantage of this scooter is the removable height-adjustable seat, which is sprung and, therefore, partially compensates for the unsprung chassis.
The comfort is further facilitated by air-filled wheels that help dampening the vibrations and bumps. The scooter is controlled like motorcycles - using a rotating handle on the right side of the handlebars. Also positioned there is a simple battery status indicator in the form of LEDs. The scooter is not equipped with any speedometer or odometer.
The safety is taken care of by one disc brake on the rear wheel, controlled by a lever on the left side of the handlebars. The scooter comes with a sufficient ground clearance of about 9 cm.
Once folded, the scooter's height is only 40 cm, as it is possible to fold down the steering rod using a pull-out locking pin and, also, to completely remove the seat. If necessary, it is possible to easily remove the handlebars and reduce further the scooter's width during transport. As an option, the scooter can be used without a seat. You will feel comfortable and safe while riding thanks to the powerful inflatable tires with inner tube. You can use the scooter without having to worry about getting stuck or falling down on poor or unpaved surfaces.
Our rating and use
This model may make some people smile or even shake their heads in disbelief. We’ve been selling it for several years and must say that it has established its own customer base. It comes both with a favorable price, especially given the comfort it provides, and with the fact that it is equipped with a seat.
A range of 22 km is sufficient for many riders and not everyone needs to fly on a scooter at 40 km/h. It is also suitable to be used by businesses as a convenient and environmentally-friendly mode of transport between workstations or by security personnel during nightly patrols across larger buildings or company grounds. At the end of security patrol, just plug the scooter to a charger and shortly it is ready for the next ride, making patrolling definitely faster and than on foot.
Another customer group for this model are the people having difficulty walking or who can no longer walk over long distances, such as when paying visits to friends or going shopping. This is a great gift for your grandparents or to be used when you stay at your cottage. Such use is also possible thanks to the pleasantly wide seat and the scooter’s overall ease-of-use.

About the brand
Established in 2005, the SXT is one of the oldest electric scooter brands in the world. It is one of just few brands based in Europe, namely in Germany close to the southern border with Switzerland. The SXT headquarters is in the German city of Rheinfelden where the sales department, design team and the central service shop and warehouse are located in the company-owned building spanning total area of over 3 000 m2. The SXT’s strategy is to establish local representations so that customers always have at hand the advice and service in their own region and local language and do not have to solve every issue remotely via the Internet. Voltride is the largest representation of this kind in Central Europe, operating a network of stores in Bratislava, Prague, Brno, Uzhhorod and also an e-shop in Hungary.
